If you like pinochle, you will also enjoy Schnapsen. This app is an implementation of the two-player card game Schnapsen where you can play against a friend online through Game Center or play offline against a computer opponent. Win tricks, play marriages (20, 40), close the hand, view taken tricks, and exchange your trump jack for the shown trump card to help you win hands to score game points. Reduce your game score to 0 to win the game and give your opponent a Bummerl before your opponent can give one to you!

- Game scoring penalties enforced if a player closes the hand but fails to reach 66.
- Various statistics accumulated and displayed for both the player (You) and computer opponent (Me). Statistics are updated after a game is completed.
- Statistics are updated for offline play. Leaderboards are updated for online play.
- 3 skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Expert) that dictate the level of play for the computer opponent in offline mode.

Great game! Have had for about 6 months now an love it. The developer is on top of any bugs and glitches. One request though, Id love to see you add the possibility of Hungarian face cards. Since they follow the same game rules. Otherwise, keep up the great work!
Great fun, but please add sound effects and Ill give 5 stars. My Grandmother taught me to deal three cards, then the trump, followed by two final cards to each player. The game brings back fond memories.
Oh whoa! Finally I see this game appear in the app store. I love this game! Its very well designed and the playing of the cards is great. Nice animation! It would be nice to have the original designs (suit) appear as an option.
This is an easy to learn, not always easy to win, card game. It has taken the place of pinochle as my favorite card game.
Love this game, play for hours. Found Schnapsen researching our local card game called "Four handed 66.". So long Euchre.
